Mint Matcha Smoothie

Start Mom’s day off with a soothing and invigorating smoothie. This combination of earthy matcha and fresh mint with the slight sweetness of maple syrup results in a delicious sipper. Let Mom savour it slowly and enjoy the complex layers of flavour. The frozen bananas keep it cold and refreshing while the hemp hearts give it a dash of protein.

Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) oat milk
- 2 tsp (10 mL) maple syrup
- 1 tsp (5 mL) matcha powder
- 1 Tbsp (15 mL) hemp hearts
- 1 cup (250 mL) baby spinach leaves
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) fresh-picked mint leaves, a few reserved for garnish
- 1 frozen banana (see tip)

To blender, add oat milk, maple syrup, matcha, hemp hearts, spinach, mint, and frozen banana to. Blend on high until smooth. Garnish with mint and serve immediately.
