Its the end of week 3 of Octobers 12 Months of Wellness journey - get ready for next week, when we kid around.
Welcome to October’s 12 Months of Wellness challenge. If you’re just tuning in, October’s theme is all about having fun. This week, we channeled our inner interior decorators and had fun by livening up our living spaces.
We’re not kidding around!
Acting like a kid may seem immature, but it may have some health perks. Revisiting something you used to love to do as a kid can be both freeing and refreshing—not to mention plain old fun!
To prep for next week, here are some ideas to get you inspired.
Host a slumber party!
Get some old friends together (or siblings, cousins, etc.) and host a night where you watch movies you used to love (some favourite cartoon princesses come to mind) and dance around to songs you used to love (Girl Power, anyone?), complete with snacks you used to chow down on.
Have a ghoulishly good time.
The season for pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and corn mazes is in full swing, so why not take advantage of the best the season has to offer by checking out local tourist attractions.
Or, have an indoor day.
Rainy weather? Rein in the troupes for a board game and puzzle day, or kick things up a notch by building a fort out of blankets and pillows. Warning: fort building can get competitive and might even erupt into a full-blown pillow fight!
