Share

1 package dry yeast
1 cup (250 mL) warm water
2 1/2 cups (625 mL) all purpose flour
1/2 cup (125 mL) whole wheat flour
4 tsp (20 mL) cornmeal or semolina
2 tsp (10 mL) salt

Stir yeast into water and wait 10 minutes. Combine flours and salt and add yeast mixture. Mix and knead until dough pulls away from bowl. Add more flour if dough sticks to side of bowl. Divide into four even sections. Roll into individual circles. If dough is resistant, let it sit for 10 minutes. Dough can be frozen for future use. Makes four individual pizzas.
