The flavors of cream cheese, balsamic vinegar and fresh herbs make an unforgettable spread for this simple and hearty wrap.
1/2 cup (125 mL) cream cheese
1 Tbsp (15 mL) extra-virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp (15 mL) balsamic vinegar
Fresh chopped herbs, such as basil, oregano, thyme
2 whole wheat tortilla wraps
1 cup (250 mL) alfalfa sprouts
1 cup (250 mL) white or green onion, sliced
4 soft-boiled eggs, sliced
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, oil, vinegar and fresh herbs. Spread the mixture on each wrap, then add sprouts, onion and egg. Season with salt and pepper.
Enjoy with a salad or celery and carrot sticks. Serves two.
