This online cookbook will provide the most delicious (yet simple!) recipes to make during self-isolation
During self-isolation, are you struggling to find ways to create inspired meals out of typical pantry ingredients? Thankfully, one of alive’s own recipe creators, Amie Watson, is releasing an e-cookbook of pantry-friendly recipes to make while you’re at home improving your cooking skills and looking for delicious at home inspiration. #wereallinthistogether
Quarantine Cooking, a pay-what-you-can digital download, is a curated compilation of more than 50 recipes from Amie's blog, with a focus on ingredients found in your pantry, fridge or freezer.
Proceeds will go to the Montreal Restaurant Workers Relief Fund, which is supporting workers who've lost their incomes because of the COVID-19 crisis.
With chilis, soups, stews, lentils, pasta, rice dishes, braises, ferments, breakfasts, snacks, desserts and slow-cooker and Instant Pot mains, there’s something for every home cook, parent or chef stuck at home – with or without caviar on hand.
While completely gluten-free and dairy-free, the book has icons indicating vegan options and gives non-gluten-free, non-dairy-free variations for anyone who’s just in love with wheat and butter.

"The idea is to inspire people to cook with what they have, like lentil and spices, but to also maybe make something they never had time to try before, like homemade pasta or a Vietnamese chicken pho' ga soup from scratch that simmers for hours," says Amie.
