Mid-January is the perfect time to revisit your resolutions. If you’ve already let them slip, don’t worry—it’s not too late. And if one of your resolutions is to quit smoking, it may just be ideal, because this year, National Non-Smoking Week (NNSW) is January 15 to January 21.
Created 30 years ago by the Canadian Centre for Tobacco Control (CCTC), National Non-Smoking Week aims to help people quit smoking, or prevent them from ever starting by educating them about the dangers of smoking. Another of its goals is to promote a “smoke-free society in Canada.”
