| Any alternatives to cleaning products that I can make at home? What are the best alternative products that can be bought in health food stores? |

Vinegar is an amazing cleaner and it does windows too.
For sinks and counters and those things that need a good scrub, use baking soda. It is gentle but cleans amazingly well.
There are a number of brands of environmentally friendly cleaners you can find in the Natural Health Store. Seventh Generation is one company and Ecovert is another. Both (and many others) have great products that are gentle on you and on the environment.
Good luck |

| l second ej... stick with the basics (vinegar and baking soda)... or give natural cleaners a try... l personally have purchased ecover, seventh generation, naturally clean products and can say they all work as good or better than traditional toxic household cleaners! |

I'm allergic to the national cleaners and I've tried some from Health fod stores. After a while I found out about Shaklee. They saved my life. They have Basic L, for laundry; Basic S, for fabric softener; Basic H, for household cleaning; At-ease which is made of ground cherry pits for scouring and harder to clean grease.
It also saved me lots of money because one liter of BAsic H = 260 bottles of Fantastik (765 mL each) or 5 bottles of Pine-Sol (800 mL each) or 6,510 bottles of Windex (765 mL each).
That's basically it! If you want more info you can email me at ncys1@aol.com or call 416-256-4154.
Good Luck! |

I use the enjo range. they are great, you only need to use water with them. no possible allergies from any of their products as they are just cloth gloves.
we use them in the school i teach in and they are just fantastic for cleaning in there as they are 100% effective, meaning super safe around the children. |
