For many years I have been suffering from sleep problems.
I have tried it all...from sleep pills and vitamins till special therapy and acupuncture...

I came across a new scientific study (in Bio-Medicine site) few days ago that demonstrates how sleep disorder can be actually caused by....a virus!

The article brings up a surprising relation between chronic viruses and sleep disorder.
It shows that high level of chronic viruses in the human body can cause chronic diseases and serious disorders like sleep disorder.

Most of us have some level of chronic viruses hidden in the body- like EBV and Herpes. The problem starts when the concentration of hidden viruses becomes unstable and increases (for different reasons such as stress, smoking, sun, etc) and when this happens, it dramatically increases the risk of developing serious infections and disorders.

The article also discuss about sleep pills and drugs versus natural supplements, pointing about the unwanted side effects …
It also mentions a new antiviral supplement, called Gene-Eden, that may be effective in targeting chronic viruses, and helpful for sleep disorders.

I am curious if anybody heard about this study?

This supplement sounds interesting, I will do more research on it.
I suffer from CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) for years now, and I remember I heard a positive feedback from a friend in our support group.

Thanks for the info!!
