Best bet then is to hire a dietician, although they will never get you to look your best ever they can be an excellent starting point especially if you have an illness. Once you have your basics down then you can start to flirt with Fitness Nutritionists. In Canada Certified Personal Trainers are not allowed to give Nutritional Consultations they are only allowed to give Nutritional Advice unless they have acquired some form of certificate or have some form of degree dealing with Nutrition. I'm not saying that Personal Trainers don't know Nutrition, many do, but just as many haven't got a clue. Unfortunately most certification company's do not deal much with the aspect of Nutrition, if at all. I know this because I myself worked in Fitness for many many years.
Now your easiest bet for keeping the fat off is to exercise regularly and eat everything in moderation, it should be something you can stick with and make a part of your lifestyle. Good Luck |
