Meat packaging (especially for chicken) can be a bit messy and smelly in the trash. Try microwaving them for a minute or so to cook those messy juices before placing them in the trash.

hmmm, i will have to try that. i hate coming in the kitchen in the morning after i cooked chicken and smell the rotten stench coming from the trash
