| My daughters room gets cold during the night. What would you recommend for a window treatment that would stop some of the heat loss through the window (it is a double glazed window with about 2-1/2" deep frame). |

Nothing works better than long, heavy curtains!
You can get some great material at various fabric stores and find a heavy, thick organic cotton or flannel and easily string some up on rods.
Rods and mounting hardware are really easy to use. I bought mine at Ikea but I know that many hardware stores have them now.
The great thing about curtains is that you can take them down easily in the spring/summer and use them to help decorate the room. |
