| I find that I seem to get an allegic reaction to lipstick and lip gloss. I get a rash on my lips and then my lips crack. What do suggest that I use on my lips to cure my rash and cracking? What do you suggest to use for lip color? |

| Have you tried mixing shea butter and carnauba wax? There are a lot of beatuy products for sale that are natural and hypoallergenic. I personally like Burt's Bees lip shimmers. |

Have you tried The Body Shop ?
I know thier lipstick and gloss are the only ones I can use without my lips becoming sore and chapped. I just went in and explained my problem and they were so helpful.
You can also use honey as a lipbalm/moisturizer, and it works really well if you put some on before heading to bed. Or break open a vitamin E capsule and use that on your lips.
Hope that helps. |

I like to use Labello Hydro Care purchased from the Drugstore. There's a variety to choose from and also with color/ shimmer. I also found good quality olive oil or hemp oil works good too.
Have a great day! |

| Definitely try Burt's Bees. I love their products. They're all so natural you could actually eat them if you were stranded without food, LOL... but it might not taste that good! |

|
I have had some sort of allergic reaction to lip gloss and glossy lipstick. My lip will form a scab or two, turn hard, change texture, peel and become numb in those spots. Does anyone know any thing about this. I then have to stop wearing lipstick for two months or so until my lips heal. But yes Shea butter works very well as a healer to you lips...
|

I would try the Burts Bees. they are all natural. You can buy it almost anywhere, online, at the bookstore, and of course walgreens or something. Let us know what works for you

| Go to the baby section of the drug store and get a tube of Lansinoh, or other lanolin product. It's meant to soothe chapped nipples, and works equally wonderfully on chapped lips and even noses when you have a cold. |

Do you have any other allergic reactions? I would try to figure out what ingredient you are allergic to first...
Then, if it's not one of the ingredient here, you should try:
PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics because they have natural lip gloss and lip balm that moisturize your lips. They are also the first cosmetics company to donate all their after-tax distributable profits to fund women's health advocacy and urgent human rights issues.
Here's a link to the lip balm:
iamapeacekeeper.com/product.aspx?ProductID=34&deptid=6&
And here's a link to their list of lip gloss:
iamapeacekeeper.com/department.aspx?DeptId=5&
So far, my favorite is the Stillness Gloss...
And there's free shipping...and if you don't like the product they'll refund your money...
Good luck... |

| You can also do a home remedy. Mix sugar with a few drops of lemon for a scrub. It will leave them so smooth! |

| I'd have to say Burts is the best for me so far. Carmax leaves me needing it really bad when I dont keep reapplying it every hours or so. |
