When I started this make over I had no idea how much time I would spend travelling to and from appointments. The West Vancouver Wellness Centre is a drive of 45minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. I will take that long to get to an appointment with my personal trainer. The herbalist will require at least an hour and I go, without complaint, in order to improve my health and well being. However when my appointment with my nutritionist, Sally Erry was set up I was more than willing to get there. Unfortunately the magazine refused to supply me with a ticket. I would go to Tasmania in a heartbeat. They felt the telephone would suffice. Where is the sense of adventure? Can I not convince you folk that a face to face interview would provide wonderful photographs of the encounter. I do not doubt you noticed the absence of pictures in the March magazine and that could have been avoided. I would travel light, just a few smalls in hand luggage, but alas, too late. So glad I don't have to get to these appointments by bus.

Tasmania aside (that would be fun) I never thought it would take so much out of your day just to get advice on being healthy.

1 hour getting to an appointment.
15 minutes waiting - on a good day
30 minutes in the appointment
1 hour getting home

That's almost 2 full hours!

So, what is harder to work into your life Toni, the changes being made or the time!?

Time would be a bigger obstacle for me than the changes would be. But I guess, if you do not make time for your health - who will?

Keep up the good work. We're rooting for you!

Hi Traveller, these appointments take close to 3 hours which is harder than implimenting changes to my diet and lifestyle. I have to make the time up so I end up working into the night. I had no idea what I would encounter when I started this makeover, but I signed up and the improvements to my overall wellbeing far outweigh the inconvinience of the travelling back and forth and it will not go on indefinitely. I shall either end up extremely healthy or run out of time trying!
