Out of the Starting Gate
Finally, out of the starting gate like molasses in winter! The ‘flu and technical difficulties have hampered my attempts to get onto this web page.
I am excited about this makeover, I am not too sure what to expect, but will take it head on. I was invited to take part by a member of the editorial team at Alive. I was told it is not easy to tell some one in their fifties they are in need of a makeover, but I guess I was easy game!
I don’t anticipate many changes, although any advice I can get on creating and maintaining a flexible routine that will keep me on track is what I will appreciate most. I know how difficult it is to break old habits.
I have met a couple of readers who are interested in my progress as they too work unusual hours and find their routine is like starting the day as a jigsaw puzzle.
Like Rob, my first health provider is naturopath Dr. Sciortino, who will give me my base line to start working from and I will be on the road to a new me.
I am so glad I don’t like donuts! |

| Wow Toni, you are brave going public with a makeover. I'd be afraid I wouldn't do it probably and end up looking worse at the end than at the beginning. How do you think going public is going to help or hinder your progress. If you don't expect many changes, what are you hoping to see improve? |

Good for you, Toni, for taking this on.
I firmly believe that it's never too late to learn and better yourself. I'm sure whatever changes you make will benefit your life. I look forward to reading more about you.
Go for it! |
