If we carry out a dozen scientifically sound studies on homeopathy, we would expect that of those which show a non-trivial result (in other words, the treated subjects fare differently from the control subjects), half would show homeopathy as being curative while the other half would show it as being counterproductive. If only the positive findings are reported while the negative ones are being suppressed, then of course the published studies will show that homeopathy works!

Homeopathy is simply not good science. It runs counter not only to common sense, but to the fundamentals of physical science--and for this reason, it has no place in the realm of present-day health care.

You may be right about those studies.
that would be because you can't study homeopathy the same way as conventional medicine.
When 10 people have a headache, all ten get an aspirin.
When 10 people have a headache, you have to prescribe the correct remedy for each individual. Taht means 10 different remedies for each person.
Homeopathy prescriptions on the TOTALITY, meaning the remedy must take in the person genetics, past medical history, nature of the personality, generals etc.
Perhaps looking into how homepathy works would help you understand more about why we can't study homeopathy the same way as herbs or drugs.
Homeopathy does in fact work very well when prescribed the 'right' remedy. All others will do nothing.
Hope that helps. There are wonderful websites on 'Classical Homoepathy' and many books.

 As another responder has alreay pointed out....everybody is different. We have 4 kids, 2 respond well to homeopathy and the other 2 not as well but always better than taking them to some brainwashed Dr. who will put them on something to cover it up!!!! I suggest that you try different options before you voodoo us all to sleep.

What I know about homeopathy is that for 45 years I had asthma and after 4 years of working with a well trained homeopath, I am 99.9 % asthma free. I have a life without inhalers&prednisone. I now have a single remedy that costs between $10.00 and $15.00 and I have not had to use it in many years-nor have I been hospitalized once for asthma since using homeopathics.
I personally cannot say enough good things about it. I have seen such amazing results with people. I couldnt be more grateful that I was fortunate enough to find homeopathy. I read somewhere that at the turn of the century some 40% of the doctors in the us were homeopaths. It fell out of favor because of medical politics.
I cant believe that it isnt available for everyone.

I have used homeopathic remedies for as long as I can remember. Any time I had a twisted ankle or sore, over used muscles my father would give my Arnica, and it worked everytime. When I was a child, I would get two to three ear infections every month. Nothing that regular doctors would prescribe would not clear it. I was taken to a homeopathic doctor who gave me one tiny pill, and I have had only one ear infection in the thirteen years since. That is proof enough that homeopathy truly works.

The problem with this position is that it assumes its conclusion. Science is a method of inquiry not a conclusion about what must happen. Essentially this position is a kind of religious materialism. Isn't it about time that it be subjected to scrutiny! With proper scientific methodology we should be able to study any question not just those that fall within some kind of mechanistic paradigm based upon processes that fall with its constraints.
That's prejudice not science.
