Dear Ms. Sonnenberg,
Today I received a telephone call from my daughter’s doctor telling me she has hyperthyroidism in which she is required to get a test using radioactive iodine. My daughter is only 10 years old. Can you tell me if there is anything in your ebook that mentions treating someone so young naturally?
I tried to email you using kfsmile@telus.net as listed on your website but it failed to go through. Please post an updated email address a.s.a.p.
Thank you,
Ellen |

| Well two months ago I found out I was pregnant. And two weeks ago I found out why I could not hold my pregnancy. It is because of hypertyroid. they want to put me on medication and later do surgery. I am not for either. I really want this baby and this would be my fourth time and can't go through another heartbreak. Anyone with knowledege or articles would love to hear from everyone. :( |

| Hi :) I am 19, & just a month ago was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. My family doesn't have enough money as of now to go for another check up & to buy my medicine. What should I do for now? Please. |

Hi,
I am new to all this hyperthyroid stuff as of July this year (2009)... I am seeing a Doctor of Traditional Chinese medecine, and it has been very helpful, both the acupuncture and the Chinese herbs. In additional to that (with my DTCM's permission) I am taking bugleweed and motherwort tincture (available from Gaia Gardens in Vancouver).
Another great resource for thyroid information is Dr. Ryan Drumm: http://www.ryandrum.com/
He has articles on his site that helped me understand and find a better place with this condition. There is great info about the hypothyroid condition as well.
Although I am still in the early stages of my healing, I am feeling very good, much better than when I started. My heart rate is down (to 80/min from 100), I can breathe when I am training at TaeKwonDo, and although my hands still shake, it's nowhere near as bad as it was.
In addition to the treatments I am following, I have also cleaned up my diet: no alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, minimizing sugar and avoiding flour-foods, essentially anything stimulating (I discovered rosehip tea is stimulating recently!). I'm also adding a bit of kelp to my diet, ground flax and hemp seeds and eating foods that I make from scratch at home, so I know what I am eating. At this point I am considering adding Lemonbalm tincture to my healing regimen.
Hopefully this helps. As we can learn from Kerry and others, there are people who have made it through, and have healed themselves naturally. Our bodies know what to do, if we just support them the right way.
Sometimes it takes some real choices to make real changes.
Radiant Health to us all!
